Building Blitzes

Hands of Compassion has partnered with the Niall Mellon Township Trust in building houses for the poor in Thembisa.

The Trust was established in 2002 and it aims at helping eradicate shacks in South Africa.

Three times a year we challenge volunteers to join our 100-strong group on a Saturday for a Building Blitz.

It's a day of fun, sweat and dirt and no one leaves unfulfilled. The experience is both spiritual and physical - to see the harsh reality that most of our people endure, as well as to play a part in improving their lives.
