The letter of a young mother, who was reunited with her family.

‘Dear Hands of Compassion

I would really like to thank you for everything you’ve done for me. There aren’t enough words to describe the impact this place has had on my life.

The love and compassion everybody showed me specially with the passing away of my baby girl; like a family I found here, you took it upon yourselves to pay for my baby’s funeral; you made sure that she had a dignified funeral; and I thank God for bringing me here for if He didn’t I don’t know what would have become of me and my baby; or how I would have dealt with the grieving; maybe I would have gone back and do what I used to do.

I’m grateful that Hands of Compassion led me to the Lord, and helped me grow spiritually; and for that may the good Lord bless all of you.

I must say that besides growing spiritually I also grew up personally; because with all the rules you give us here I learnt responsibility, tolerance and self-discipline; and these are values you can never buy anywhere. For that I thank you.
